Wanted to share my pride and joy. After Tahlequah lost her calf in 2018, she carried her for 17 days. Locals reported seeing her and four other orcas carry Tali into a cave around sunset. They swam in a tight circle with the calf in the center of a moonbeam for hours before letting her body sink.
5 orcas swim in a tight circle around a baby orca who is flipped over. The orcas a purple with gold pacific northwest formline decorating their bodies. They swim in the teal water, creating a vortex as a light shines down on Tali, Tahlequah's daughter. All the orcas have a mask of a person on their forehead, symbolizing their spirit.
