Solidarity, there. ✊🏻

I mainlined Kafka so much at a young age that he’s particularly ingrained. Still, would reccommend.

Excuse me! Can I borrow your time for but a moment?

[Oh no, he's becoming ingrained in his time-loop, he's making puns! Unintentionally, of course.]

In 1982, an illustrated version of the story was published. It has since sold 300,000 copies.
The story has became so ingrained in Canadian culture that a line from it was placed on the back of the 2001 Canadian $5 bill.

"...editors do care what their readers think,” [Margaret] Sullivan writes. “A letter signed by thousands of individuals may indeed get their attention. Whether it can overcome ingrained practices is a different matter, but it’s worth the effort.”'

Republicans are now so ingrained in lies & corruption, they have no idea how to deal with an ethical individual who actually takes his responsibilities & oath of office seriously. He’s like an alien to them.

Ingrained Psychological Separative Distance
Most of us look with (and "as") separative distance. We look with (and "as") fragmentation. Interestingly, looking in such a way is an extension from eons of conditioning. We continue to perceive in those "old," routine, antiquated, and conditioned ways. It is largely why a lot of us get bored, depressed, and melancholy. It's because looking in the same old ways for thousands of years has kept the dynamic, living vitality at bay, leaving us fragmented and repetitive in a stagnant kind of way.

They used to be entirely secret, then they became open secrets, & now they're just entirely ingrained & tolerated despite being willful & flagrant abuse factors for both the members & their victims, it's so sick & deranged.

This is it! It’s so scary that it even affects the ones who agree patriarchy is fuqed. But these ideals are so ingrained that they don’t even see the harm in thinking and feeling this way. It’s like some major deconstructing needs to happen in order for us to get louder collectively about change.

an entire life botched by murderously incompetent authorities, from start to (potential) end. Beyond the moral abhorrence of the death penalty itself the ingrained, state-sanctioned, bloodthirsty misogyny of christo-fascist patriarchy has got to be dismantled

Tennessee says child rapists deserve to die. Now it prepares to execute one of their victims
At 18, Christa Pike was sentenced to death for murder. What if the jury knew she had suffered years of sexual abuse as a child?

This attitude being ingrained in society alongside the idea that every accusation by a woman is innately untrustworthy and untrue is a big part of what makes you go insane over time.
seen a few too many people say that women in college should know better than to go to frat parties. if that’s true, how culpable are universities for not only allowing on-campus spaces to become unsafe for women, but also allowing them to be socially important?

It is *so much in the water*, so much a part of my upbringing, so deeply-ingrained in the fabric of our daily existence, that that was my first instinctive feeling, before the metacognition kicked in a second later and told that thought to fuck off. Isn't that horrible? To live our lives this way?

“Giving a shit” and caring about others is actually so revolutionary and goes against so much of what’s ingrained into us via society. It’s a beautiful thing to say to honor someone like PAC.

Yeah, I can see thay arguement but school is a pretty key bonding factor? Hence why people pay a high price to send their kids there to access those networks.

Obviously you want to be as ingrained as possible, but the school is a necessary (of not sufficent) condition

The Burden of Competence: The High Performer’s Obsession with Flawless Execution
When a formerly high-functioning individual hesitates before taking a path forward, their reluctance is rarely driven by self-doubt regarding their capability. Deep down, they remain confident in their innate intellect and problem-solving aptitude. Instead, their paralysis stems from a rigid, deeply ingrained belief that whatever they undertake, they must execute at an exemplary level. This obsession with high performance turns every potential career choice into a dilemma: lower-level roles feel existential demotions, while complex roles threaten long-term sustainability because the individual knows no other way to operate than at 100% capacity.

Talk to the women in your life and make sure that you’re someone that they can go to and rely on.

Hold the men in your life accountable too. Pull them up on their bullshit no matter how small you think it is, because all of this is deeply ingrained in society and doing nothing only perpetuates it

i think the lesson i’ve really ingrained over the last month of ffxivwrite is that the question is not “is my writing good” but rather “is my writing done”

I am the king of getting a second/third/fourth/etc. opinion. I was raised in a caretaker household, so the importance of finding medical & mental professionals that take you seriously and listen to you was something ingrained in me since I was little.

The Big Unknown is how well military service has ingrained in active service members a duty to the U.S. Constitution. Especially enlisted members. Secretary Shrivelled Thingy wants new brown nose officers. I live in San Diego. I have faith in rank and file military. Time to think about this stuff.
