I thought I'd do some minis on a little stack of sample paper I have. This one is on Yupo translucent, and the ink just sort of sits right on top. It's so fragile that I was afraid to try to erase the pencil marks.

Switched from sketchbook to Arches hot press watercolor paper. It's interesting how differently it handles ink than it handles watercolor. The ink soaks in, but there's no feathering, and you can get a beautiful, luminous wash.

Last week on my little PCT hike I saw a few crows, and I was inspired to do #inktober this year, but only with crows. #inkcrowber, instead. Nothin' but inky #crows.
Here's the first one. It's a sketch, but I hope to do some finished pieces as well.
