It’s irresponsible to point to his inring style in particular. It’s irresponsible to compare him to the modern day Dynamite Kid. But I can’t help but feel guilty. I just want these guys to live, man. To live out the rest of their lives with no regrets.

I truly believe that given WWE's product isnt even focused on inring performace, at least for the men they would be better off scouting actors/improvisors/comedians who are in good shape and training them as athletes instead of trying to train athletes how to talk and have charisma

Strange behaviour from WWE. They insist AEW isn't competition, and financially are in incredible shape. Yet they still feel they have to run AEW out or business. Only logic behind it is that they know AEW is superior inring and they don't want their supporters to demand better

He was the only Rascalz member I wasn't familiar with inring wise until I watch some MLW. After that, I said he's the best member followed by Dezmond.

Yea, he still has a ton of character crutches that honestly, if he wants to be an all time great, he needs to move past. But im digging him being aew and indie wrestlings biggest cheerleader in media. And his inring stuff is decent, if a little "greatest hits" feeling at times.

Also any arguments that he's the "master of reinvention" gets a lmao. He changes his name and clothes, lands on a new comedy catchphrase, and does the same cheap heat tricks that I see whenever clips of his WWE heydays from two decades ago pop up. Character and inring don't change. Not a GOAT.

I've always liked his presentation but then the bell rings and it falls apart. I think you're right he just needs his inring identity to feel more authentic and be executed more skillfully especially in pacing and story.

I liked becky a lot at one point but she was weaker inring than the other four horsewomen. AJ Lee was worse than that. Idk if seth was ever the same after the first knee injury. So process of elimination is phil mostly because he is a smarter worker to cover up his faults
