Recently, @aklori.bsky.social posted about swivel cables for Tunisian crochet, so I grabbed a few for my Chiaogoo interchangables. I can't believe the difference! No more smacking myself with cable ends

I know I am an outlier user of my stuff but knitpicks wooden dpns literally broke in my hand, karbonz sheds tiny splinters, chiaogoo bamboo interchangables snapped off twice ... the only brands that have held up to normal operations for me are clover and crystal palace.

I'm assuming that was supposed to be addi clicks, but I would absolutely buy aldi interchangables if they existed

I got a lovely gift certificate for my birthday to one of my favourite yarn stores, so of course I got pretties..

3 skeins of a cashmere/merino/nylon blend for a fade, and a set of 2.25mm 9" chiaogoo (I have interchangables but I can't seem to keep them from detaching) for some sock knitting.

Me, too - I learned on straights (the only thing available then) and learned in Italy to use long straights with one clamped under the arm... but now it's interchangables all the way (assuming I can find the right size...).

ale hlavně když to dvěma jehlicím moc klouže, háček to snáz nabere, a pak už je to na lanku - a u interchangables se prostě vymění háček za lanko a tadááá může se plést.

fakt nesnáším sešívání věcí, ale nahazování ok na okraj něčeho co se mi hýbe je hned jen kousek za tím :D

On top of that, double pointed needles feel very natural to me over circular/interchangables. It is quite nice as far as learning goes, but I do wonder if I'll make the cabled needles work eventually.
