Lithuania has signed a deal to buy Finnish-made Blocker naval mines from Forcit Defence to strengthen Baltic Sea defenses. The advanced seabed mines are already used by Finland and Estonia. Lithuania says the purchase will improve deterrence and allied interoperability. #NATO

That still requires some changes absent the US like the development of infrastructure, base sharing agreements, interoperability doctrine and systems etc. But that is still a smaller investment than scrapping the whole thing and starting over with a Russian style system.

too many products built on protocols differentiate by adding non-protocol based features, essentially walled-gardening on top of a protocol in the guise of interoperability.
better products will compound the abilities of protocols rather than build away from them.

Obviously we can never know all the specs but guaranteed Aeris X would be greenlit for 5th gen norad interoperability. Global eye may not.

Oh, I've a good idea why: Verse is a script language, so interoperability between Verse & C++ requires a lot of work. In particular, if you write code in Verse, it's going to present difficulties exposing it in C++ (much like it's challenging to use functions declared in blueprint in C++)
