Enjoyed completing a doodle with a new circle template. I like the motion in this one. #intuitivedoodle #circles 🎨

This dried piece of succulent has a really neat texture of lines and cavities and inspired this doodle. A base of black walnut ink wash, added black ink along with some added color from alcohol markers and voila! 🎨🌱 #intuitivedoodle #blackwalnutink

Getting back to my mini-square doodle and playing around with some color! I have no plan whatsoever, which is what makes this fun and relaxing. #intuitivedoodle #miniart 🎨

Played with some markers on the white cardstock squares. I liked the brightness with the heavy black lines. 🎨#intuitivedoodle #cardstock

Starting a new mini art square doodle. I have 25, 2-inch squares of Bristol smooth paper. Started with some pebble-like doodles and will add to it over time. I am curious to see where it takes me next! #intuitivedoodle 🎨

Next in the intuitive doodle series! As usual, the paint guides my line work. I enjoyed using some white gel pen as well as regular black ink. This one did take on a map-like look. 🎨 #intuitivedoodle #penandink #watercolor

But wait…there’s more! This is the first of two more doodles on the watercolor backgrounds. This medium blue definitely brought out some ocean-like doodles and even an anemone finish with colorful gel pens! 🎨#intuitivedoodle #ocean #anemone

Lest you fear I have forgotten about my doodles…I have not! 😊 Here are some, mostly in black and white ink. I really enjoy the freedom just seeing where the lines and shapes take me. Very relaxing! 🎨#intuitivedoodle #penandink

An intuitive doodle for July. I liked the rich, warm colors of the background on this one and added the linework, as usual, randomly. I rotated it a few times and decided on this view. #intuitivedoodle #ink #watercolor

One other that I finished up this weekend. Slightly different on a circle of Kraft cardstock. Again, some white and gold gel pen along with black linework. I apparently and drawn to map-like shapes at the moment! 🎨 #intuitivedoodle #kraftcardstock #penandink

The intuitive doodles continue! The Blue Moon at the end of May inspired the blue (and I did the line drawing to add to my full moon drawings for this year.) The yellow hexagon was inspired by those intricate peony stamen! 🎨 #intuitivedoodle #bluemoon #peony

I did something a little different with this one. I used white and silver gel pens to add some doodles on top of the mica watercolor paint in this circle. A rather wintery, but bright feel. 🎨 ❄️ #intuitivedoodle #silverpen #whitepen

Back to doodling! Can you tell I bought some more gel pens? 😁 I chose the sunny orange/yellow watercolor background that I painted months ago. I then just started adding line work to the shapes. I really like the blue metallic ink on the orange (go complementary colors!) 🎨 #intuitivedoodle

This is a 3x4” piece of Bristol smooth paper. I played around with some shapes and new gel pens. 🎨 #intuitivedrawing #intuitivedoodle #gelpens

Final one for this evening was done on a favorite background of my homemade black walnut ink with a layer of wet grizzly and poplar yellow paint from @beampaints I just love the shimmer from the mica in wet grizzly! Definitely thought of flower centers and earthy petal shapes. 🎨 #intuitivedoodle

In preparation for next week’s Inchie Challenge with @amymaricle I realized I have amassed a nice number of doodles over the last couple of years! It is fun to see them all together and great to see how small, regular practices come together into something bigger.🎨 #intuitivedoodle #intuitivedrawing
