Iree, Choi Hyun-jung: ROLLING QUARTZ/LATENCY - learned a thing or two from the girl band seniors
LATENCY × ROLLING QUARTZ Joint Concert: [Afterglow] A Landmark Collaboration Between Two Leading Forces in Modern K-Rock Date: May 30, 2026 Event Overview & Concept Announced under the poetic tagline "A light and resonance that lingers long after the performance ends," [Afterglow] was a special co-headlining joint live concert held on May 30, 2026, uniting veteran hard-rock quintet Rolling Quartz and rising rock outfit LATENCY. The show stood as a major celebration of solidarity and mutual respect across the modern Korean female rock band scene. Preceded by collaborative YouTube content where the senior members of Rolling Quartz shared stagecraft and tour insights with LATENCY, the concert bridged Rolling Quartz's arena-ready hard rock crunch with LATENCY's dynamic blend of modern melodic rock and instrumental musicianship. Participating Acts & Performance Highlights Rolling Quartz (롤링쿼츠) Comprising Park Ja-young (lead vocals), Iree (lead guitar), Choi Hyun-jung (guitar), Kim A-rem (bass), and Im Yeong-eun (drums). The veteran quintet delivered an explosive set featuring heavy drop-tuned riffing, blistering dual-guitar leads, and high-energy anthems drawing from their mini-albums Fighting, Victory, and Roll the dice. LATENCY (레이턴시) Showcased their sharp instrumental chops and dynamic songwriting from their LATE O' CLOCK era, highlighted by frontwoman/bassist Heeyeon and guitarist Haeun's live improvisational interplay, rich vocal melodies, and energetic band arrangements. Collaborative Synergy & Joint Encores Beyond individual setlists, the event highlighted shared musical camaraderie across the live-house circuit, featuring warm cross-band interactions, onstage shoutouts, and shared live energy that became a defining live milestone for the 2026 K-rock calendar. Significance in Modern K-Rock Scene Solidarity Marked a notable trend of collaboration rather than competition among prominent Korean female bands (alongside peers like ChRocktikal and QWER), expanding live-audience crossover and supporting independent band culture in Seoul. Historical Placement Stood out as one of the hallmark live showcases of May 2026, directly following Rolling Quartz's solo My Turn tour dates and LATENCY's spring promotional run. Iree: Rolling Quartz - Iree solo & Azalea - Vancouver 2026
Rolling Quartz (롤링쿼츠) South Korean Hard Rock Quintet, Twin-Guitar Drive & Modern K-Rock Titans Biography & Band History Formed in Seoul in August 2019, Rolling Quartz is a five-member all-female hard rock band. The group emerged through the union of two underground acts from the Hongdae club circuit—Rolling Girlz and Rose Quartz—who merged their lineups and monikers to create a unified rock outfit. Debuting officially in December 2020 with the hard-rocking single "Blaze," Rolling Quartz quickly garnered an international following through fiery live performances, viral rock covers, and streaming events. Unapologetically heavy in a music scene often dominated by electronic pop, they combine classic 1980s arena-rock punch, alternative metal distortion, and driving dual-guitar riffing with powerful vocal hooks. Across successful mini-albums including Fighting, Victory, and Roll the dice, the quintet has toured internationally throughout Europe and North America, establishing themselves as prominent leaders in modern Korean rock. Band Members & Instrumental Skills Park Ja-young (박자영) – Main Vocals The vocal engine and frontwoman of the group, known for her wide dynamic projection, raspy hard-rock grit, and vocal stamina across high-energy tempos and emotive power ballads. Iree (아이리) – Lead Guitar & Leader The band's leader and lead soloist, delivering high-velocity alternate picking, soaring melodic leads, singing vibrato, and expressive wah-infused solos. Choi Hyun-jung (최현정) – Rhythm & Co-Lead Guitar Supplies the band's thick rhythm crunch and guitar counterpoint, locking in tight palm-muted power chords, drop-tuned riffs, and harmonized lead trades alongside Iree. Kim A-rem (김아름) – Bass Anchors the low-end rumble with aggressive pick attack, overdriven bass tones, and walking lines that fuse classic rock groove with heavy metal punch. Im Yeong-eun (임영은) – Drums Provides the rhythmic foundation behind the kit, characterized by rapid double-kick patterns, heavy snare backbeats, and dynamic live performance endurance. Band Information & Musical Identity Origin & Formation Seoul, South Korea (Formed 2019 / Debuted 2020) Management & Agency Rolling Star Entertainment Fandom Name Diadem Musical Style Hard Rock, Alternative Metal, Post-Grunge, and Melodic Modern K-Rock driven by a twin-guitar wall of sound. ニューラルネットのライブラリを独自実装(Vulkan利用)にしたら、IREEやort(ONNXRuntimeラッパー)に比べてGPUが倍速になった。

GRUに特化してめちゃくちゃ最適化させた。

Going to a funeral in Kingston, PA. Gonna hit the family with wha gwan erry ting iree.
