Overall I think it has a lot more important to say than it has flawed with it so I would recommend it. Returning Ishval and all stolen land to its people and discussing reparations is pretty radical

03 has some phenomenal cuts of animation and I think its depiction of the war in Ishval is way better than Brotherhood. But for me it falls apart in the back half.

I think especially if you just don’t watch episode 0 of brotherhood, you’re fine? The gutting of the ishval flashback is the biggest mark against it though, that was the biggest “why did they remove this??” Especially when there’s an anime original episode just to ruin every twist for a new viewer

scar should be allowed to kill all the state alchemists idc literal war criminals (dont get why he goes for ed tho when he was clearly was 5 or smth when ishval happened)
