Storm clouds move in over the high mountain peaks as the forest below covered in pine trees braces for the storm. For this exposure I used -- Sony A77 Sigma 18-200mm lens Sirui Tripod Sirui K20x ball head Singh Ray Galen Rowel 4 stop soft Grad ND Singh Ray Circular Polarizer Exposure times -- ƒ/11 1/50 130mm ISO200 Taken in Arches National Park located in Moab, Utah. This shot was taken at sunset and it's very rare I ever shoot B&W during golden hour, sunrise, or sunset. I much prefer color during these times because of the strong impactful fleeting light. I did however make an exception for this image and you can thank that "Shelf Cloud" for that. I really enjoyed the overall change and differences in the tones. The greyscale in this shot is just huge.
