Okay, I posted this before I had a primary source — mea culpa — which is why I thought it was an email blast. It’s actually from iWantClips’ Freshdesk:

iWantClips to Restrict 17 Fetish Categories for UK Users

This really makes it clear that the purpose of the UK's increasingly broad restrictions on porn is simply to gloatingly flex the state's power to regulate the intimate lives of citizens: "we can rape anyone we want and you can't do shit, but if you want your face sat on, you're going to jail"
An email blast from adult site iWantClips, reading as follows: "In accordance with the UK's Crime and Policing Act 2026, taking effect November 6, 2026, iWantClips is required to remove certain categories of content from the platform for Artists located in the UK. "The new law restricts the publication and possession of specific categories of adult content in the UK. "Affected Content Choking Fantasy Play Breath Play Fantasy Smother Ass Smothering Foot Smother Breast Smother Squeeze-Smother Hand Over Mouth Face Sitting BBW Facesitting Jeans Face Sitting Scissorhold Chest Sitting Throat Busting Fantasy Plastic Fetish Butt Drops Trampling Fantasy "Because this requirement applies to possession as well as publication, content in these categories will be removed from your Store entirely before November 6, 2026 and not only restricted from view for UK fans. "This is a legal requirement under UK law and applies to all Artists located in the United Kingdom. It is not a reflection on your content."

my understanding is that this list is of tags that iwantclips has determined to be impacted by the law rather than this being a list provided by the law. nonetheless this is pretty absurd restriction nonetheless

The specific categories seem to be just iWantClips’ own categories which they’re blocking in the UK to stay safe around the extremely vaguely-defined law banning pornography involving strangulation or suffocation.

If you read through the actual site, the wording is vague. What counts as choking? What counts as suffocation? iWantClips has released their list of banned content, and it includes a hand over someone's mouth, chest sitting, and face sitting. Yes - face sitting could be illegal.

The UK’s ban on strangulation in porn is so far reaching that porn sites are removing pretty much anything that could “inhibit” breathing, including face sitting…
In accordance with the UK's Crime and Policing Act 2026, taking effect November 6, 2026, iWantClips is required to remove certain categories of content from the platform for Artists located in the UK. The new law restricts the publication and possession of specific categories of adult content in the UK. Affected Content Choking Fantasy Play Breath Play Fantasy Smother Ass Smothering Foot Smother Breast Smother Squeeze-Smother Hand Over Mouth Face Sitting BBW Facesitting Jeans Face Sitting Scissorhold Chest Sitting Throat Busting Fantasy Plastic Fetish Butt Drops Trampling Fantasy Because this requirement applies to possession as well as publication, content in these categories will be removed from your Store entirely before November 6, 2026 and not only restricted from view for UK fans. This is a legal requirement under UK law and applies to all Artists located in the United Kingdom. It is not a reflection on your content.
