On #InternationalWorkersMemorialDay #IWMD26, we reflect on all workers who have died or been harmed by their work.

For us, that's particularly poignant where it concerns the rail industry.

Remember the dead. Fight for the living.

We would love to see more such memorials across the network, to show the true cost of keeping the system moving over the years.

International Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember the dead. Fight for the living.

Today we remember all those who lost their lives, or were injured, simply doing their jobs and we recommit to fighting for every worker’s right to be safe at work. #IWMD26

We’re lighting up our UNISON building in purple for International Workers’ Memorial Day 💜

2.7 million workers die globally each year from work-related accidents and diseases. On #IWMD26, we say work should never cost a life.

Today I, along with colleagues across the Trade Union movement, pay tribute to the memory of all of those killed at work.

Health and safety legislation is unfortunately often written in blood, and we need to continue to strengthen protections for workers in all industries

Work-related stress, burnout and insecurity are not individual problems — they are workplace risks.

📣 This #IWMD26, it’s time to tackle psychosocial risks at work.

Psychosocial risks must be prevented — and unions are key to making work safer. ✊

Today marks Workers' Memorial Day. Today we remember all those who have lost their lives to work-related illness or injury.

Strong, organised unions keep people safe at work, which is why Labour have removed barriers to union recognition in our landmark Employment Rights Act. #IWMD26
