Also, I did a full deep dive on the history with this character design in my Tumblr post. If you want to hear me ramble about the character even more, or see some more drawings of them, then go check it out.

The Venus Djinn Flint from Golden Sun teaching the viewer about how Djinn work. Based on the tutorial scene from Golden Sun: Dark Dawn where Flint is teaching the party about Djinn in Tanglewood forest. Flint. Flint is holding a pointer at the green-board towards the Venus Djinn written on it. The white board has Venus on top and Mars below, assumingly with Jupiter and Mercury off-screen. The forest that makes up the background has a variety of dark-cool colors. With the background behind the Djinn and green-board being a dark purple, with a tree made up of a pair of velvet colors. The ground is mostly dark blue, with a path of purple and mushy pinks stretching from the middle to the lower left corner of the piece. A photo that was drawing on top of in Clip Paint studio. The work consists of two OCs, Sole and friend, standing at the edge of a seaside view deck, covered in snow. The pair look over the deck at the frozen lakeside, covered in snow. Out in the distance are dark clouds overtaking the sky. Bundle in winter clothing, they take in a cold breeze, hair flowing in the wind, as they take in the view of the lakeside. A drawing of the three main characters of Deltarune, standing in front of castle town. From left to right are Kris, Susie, and Ralsei. They are standing on top of bright blue circle. Various buildings, a castle, and a fountain make up the background. The background is very dark with everything in a light blue outline. Excluding the fountain behind the castle, which is emitting purple light as it bursts into the sky. A mix media piece. Combining AR photography with Pokemon Go's Go Snapshot and 2D digital art drawn on top of it. The photo features a cliffside, overlooking a lake on a clear day. With a lush green hillside with a few trees fadly changing colors in the background. Standing on top of a black rock are three Pokemon. Squirtle, Bulbasuar, and Charmander. The two on the right are in an action pose. Near the bottom of the piece is a drawing of three of my OCs, holding Pokeballs. Jade/Jackit on the far left holding the ball across their chest. Sole holding up the ball to her face and staring. Sara, holding her Pokeball forward towards the screen, with her other hand on her hip.

This is the amalgamation of most of my artist hobbies into a single piece. Drawing, photography, combined into one. Focused around the Pokemon that started it all.

When I look at it that way, it sounds poetic...

It's summer! Post a swimwear or beach pic! 🌴

It's kind of funny this was how I realized how little I do summer wear. I do have these sketches from eons ago that now I have the urge to go ahead and color in/redo them some day.
#art #OCart
A few pencil sketches of some of my OC in swimsuits or general summer wear. On the upper left, we have Sole in a beach dress with a large beach hat, hand behind her back with a look of concern on her face. On the upper right, is Techie in a two piece swim suit, sitting down on the ground. On the bottom left is Sara in a two piece swimsuit and waving to the screen. On the bottom right is the ambiguous named OC, sometimes called Jackit, standing with arms behind their back in a one piece swim suit.

Enjoy some of my characters in an attempt to recreate the Paper Mario art style. Kind of been meaning to revisit the Paper Mario art style for a while now, if only for my art bingo board.

Might come back later to color it in. But at least now I can check it off the board.

Drawings of some of my OC from Overseer of the Elements in a Paper Mario art style. From left to right we have Jackit standing in solum, Sara with a thumbs up, and Sole. Though maybe this set with more details in my drawings would be a better example of my growth... I can't decide.
2009 ➡️ 2013➡️ 2024
#art #OCart #oldArt
A drawing from Halloween 2009 of a bunch of the cast of my comic at the time dressed up. With the Kongs in the upper-left, Kumatoria and Lucas in the upper right, and the OC cast along the bottom. A Halloween 2013 drawing. With Jackit dressed as Pokemon Y trainer on the left and Sara as Wii Fit trainer on the right. The area is dark, only illuminated by the moon with a bunch of spooky trees making up the background. Halloween 2024. Drawing of Nayla as princess Daisy, Sole as princess Rosalina, and Techie as Toadette. They are accompanied by Halloween themed Sol Spirits. In the background are gray clouds and a blue-green moon.

QRT your growth!

2009 ➡️ 2012 ➡️2019➡️ 2025
Drawing from the first webcomic I did way back in 2009, back in color pencil and paper. Featuring Jackit with a Wiimote on the left and Sara pointing at them on the right. Two drawings of Sara from 2012. On the left features Sara dressed up in a vest inspired by an RPG with a sun in the background. On the right is Sara dressed as Rosa from Pokemon Black/White 2. A drawing of Sara from 2019. She is kneeling on the ground with hands on her lap, while wearing a tank top and jeans. A small blue newt rests on the top of her head. A drawing of Sara from 2025 I did for Firebrand Dash. In it, Sara is stand tall and proud as she holds a Myi cookie in one had while resting her other hand on top of her hip. Grass, bushes, a blue sky with clouds and a sun make up the background.

I already reposted it twice to point out it was Dawn of Djinn text, but it seems like Tumblr is still getting confused. Ah, well, I did what I could.

Just know if the Golden Sun community ends up having a false memory of "Weather Be Gone" in 5 years, I'm sorry.

A duo minecart drawing I did back in 2011. I can't recall if it was for my Mario Party Minigame coaster or the Donkey Kong Country LP. This drawing held-up better than I thought. Until I look at the faces. But ah-well, noticing the flaws just means that I've improved since then.

Jackit and Sara riding in a minecart in the style of Donkey Kong country. Jackit is staring straight forward towards you in horror, while Sara is staring looking ahead in determination.

Oddly enough, I couldn't find a lot of old Jackit and friends art that I didn't already share here.. so enjoy some old Jackit and Sara art with "animals". (Originally shared in 2019)

My OC Jackit looking up at their hat to see a Pichu hiding in it. The Pichu has the hat over one ear, with the other sticking out. An old drawing of my OC Sara sitting on her knees with hands over them. She is wearing a pink tank top. On her head rests a black and white bunny.

Let's just say, I decided to divide the finale of Emerald Rouge into 2 videos.
(No actual technical difficulties, this is just for a bit. But after the raw emotion I put into the commentary at the end there, I decided I definitely needed a break and that half an hour was long enough.)

There is a rainbow color screen in a similar fashion to the images you would get on a CRT TV when it is broken. The following sketches are drawn on top as black lines, uncolored. To the left is me wallowing in my suffering, with my OC Jackit comforting me. To the right is Techie working away at the computer to fix the problem. Pasted on top of that are the following words. Technical difficulties. Please stand by.

QRP with your profile art!
Been itching to do this meme for awhile now. I edited the drawing in my profile picture for a video thumbnail to include the full cast. So I can get two Sparrow with one ball by updating my profile pic and sharing this.
#Art #OCart #overseeroftheElements
The main cast of the Overseer of the Elements OC hanging out on the couch for a sleepover. Sole, on the left side of the couch, has already fallen asleep and is sleeping on Sara's shoulder. Sara sits in the middle of the couch, legs crossed and looks down on the sleepy little princess. Jackit is on the far right of the couch, relaxing with arms behind their head, leaning slightly on Sara. Behind the couch, Nayla is peaking over the edge to see what everyone else is up to. Last but not least, hidden in left corner of the couch is Techie. She is leaning up against the couch with a computer on her lap. She seems to focused on her work to notice what everyone else is up to.

And here's some from the Sole and Techie sections...
#OC #OCArt #OverseeroftheElements
Various sketches tieing to my OC Sole. Upper left has her explaining Sol Spirits to the rest of the party. To the right of that is explaining how she's not actively in the part but does support from the side. Bottom left features her explaining that her bodyguard is missing. To the right of that is Jackit holding 3 water Sol Spirits. In the lower right is Sol holding an Earth Sol Spirit explaining, "I'll hold onto this one so it does not mess up your default classes. Let me know if you change your mind." A small sketch of the party at one of the shrines scattered throughout the world. Attending this shrine is a random light priestess. She says, "Greeting Guiding Light, how can we serve you today?" Below that lists some options, Heal party, blessings, and advice. Some sketches relating to Techie. Top one is her using her robot Pro Fi to analyze Sole's abilities in order to create a fast travel system for the rest of the party. Below that is her making phone calls to shopkeepers to arrange a remote shopping system.

Better late than never, but here's a thread of sketches I made for the Overseer October video.
Starting with the Jackit section...

Here's the video in case you missed it BTW:

#OC #OCArt #OverseeroftheElements
Jackit writing a letter to their pen pal. It appears that the subject matter is related to a bad interaction they had with their peers earlier on in the day. They also have a loose map of a part of the world hanged up on the wall, like a poster. Jackit standing with their head down in sadness. Their sadness is so strong that their water Myi has triggered subconsciously and is releasing a personal raincloud on them. A sketch of Jackit's two main friends pre-Overseer of the Elements. On the left we have Sara and on the right is their pen pal, in silhouette.

So, I was just trying to keep the main two out so the rest of the party could have some time in the spotlight, but I couldn't resist at least doing a little sketch for these two...

Sara dressed up as Princess Peach. She seems a little off about being dressed as her. On the right, we have Jackit dressed as Yoshi.
