In a grayscale style accented with highlights and washes of neon red and neon blue, an anthropomorphic border collie in a light-colored trench coat walks down a sloped street in a heavy rain. Reflected in his eyes and in the windows of the buildings behind him, we can see a red neon flower and a blue neon "cinema" sign. He looks deeply depressed as he gazes upon the those signs which, of course, are behind our vantage point, up and to our right. The image is framed with red and blue neon lights. The artist's signature stamp is in the lower right hand corner. An anthropomorphic wolf in a white dress shirt, black slacks, and a black tie sits grieving in a somewhat fancy parlor chair in front of a plain coffin on a low table with a white tablecloth over it. The space is somewhat dark, and spotlights illuminate the wolf and the coffin, separately. The entire work is grayscale, and it is a work in progress.
