I suppose one of the good things about coming here - I can repost my entire compendium of Nudibranch pictures that I’ve collated over the last 15 years.
So let’s start with my favourite marine slug. This is an undescribed Janolus from the United Arab Emirates

Is #Nudicember a thing? Nevermind if not - here is an undescribed Janolus #Nudibranch from the United Arab Emirates.

This undescribed Janolus Nudibranch is being spotted with increasing regularity in the Arabian Sea (although I suspect it is primarily due to more folks looking for it) #Invertfest #Nudibranch #Seaslugs

On what might seem yet another dark day - here is something that hopefully will help brighten your mood. An undescribed Janolus #Nudibranch from the Oman Sea.

So let’s have another slug. This I believe is Janolus savinkini from Anilao in the Philippines. These can after be found with an accompanying commensal shrimp.

So what do #Nudibranch look like from underneath? This is looking at the foot of an undescribed Janolus that was crawling upside down on the waters surface.

So many nudis, so short a month! Today’s slug is not in my collection, so choosing one of mine to close #Nudivember wasn’t easy. Here’s a bizarre and colourful Janolus savinkini from Komodo, Indonesia.
Thank you so much, @nudibranch.bsky.social for such a fun time!

In case their bright colors don't deter predators, this sea slug — Janolus flavoanulatus — can roll into a ball & secrete acids from their cerata (the pointy things serving as their gills).

Another for MerMay, “Dreaming”.

The reference for this one was Janolus flavoanulatus. Reference photo by Richard Zerpe, via Wikipedia.

I’m okay with this NudiMer, but not delighted.
