I left the JaxFurs chat over a year ago for major polarization. The whole thing had devolved into cliques that you were in or you weren't part of the conversation anymore. Hell, I founded the current group in 2005 & got tired of being treated like an outsider because I'm "too old" to be a furry now.

Long ago, I was part of the first furry group in Jacksonville in the late 90's with @fuzzwolf.bsky.social

I fell out of the fandom for 20 years after everyone moved away. Connected back with it in VRchat.

I'd like to catch up with the old JaxFurs sometime, I don't remember everyone though.
