“… And then Jax reconciles with Pomni at the end of this chapter, right?”

*me quietly adding 2 more chapters to the expected length of this thing*

“… Right????”

=T

Enjoy!! <333

Mutually Assured Destruction By StarlitVesper Chapter 12: Broken Heart Syndrome Summary: Pomni finally hits a breaking point with Jax, who suddenly has to figure out who he is without her and how the hell he’s going to repair all the relationships he’s damaged over the years all by himself. If they’re even still salvageable. Also hey what if Ragatha actually got to work through some of her issues and shortcomings onscreen?? Maybe she can be exactly the sort of friend Jax needs right now. This chapter is for everyone who'd been dying for some Jax & Ragatha bonding. And/or if you wanted to see Jax be a giant sobbing mess in her arms. Notes: This chapter clocks in at somewhere around 40+ pages and I've been editing it to death for weeks and that only made it longer .-.

(shhh let me be delulu, bunmi is real in my eyes uwu ideally she would have also been a cat~) #funnybunny #jaxpom #alphasart #tadcfankid
A cute draw of Pomni and Jax dressed in animal costumes from the recent Japan art collab. Pomni is dressed as a sheep/lamb, but personally, see her as a lop bunny 💕 Jax is dressed in a pink bunny suit. He holds their bebe, Lavender, playfully on his hands as he bends down to Pomni’s height, grinning at her playfully as he leans into her. Pomni smiles up at them with a grin of her own as she holds a hand out under Lavender. Lavender still has her eyes closed and looks happy as she is held in her parents hold, she is wearing a pink and cream variant of her jester onesie. The background is a pink/purple gradient.

“If you were easy to kill, I would have done it already…” — hunter by Paloma Paris. 💜🐰🃏❤️

#funnybunny #jaxpom #tadcpomni #tadcjax #alphasart
A pencil sketch draw of Pomni and Jax. Jax is holding Pomni by her shoulders in a rough manner as he looks ready to bite her shoulder and neck. His eyes are scribbly and looks a little feral. Pomni dangles from his hold, partially leaning back with her eyes closed, one of her hands holds the back of his neck, while the other holds a C&A gun to his chest between them. Lyrics from Paloma Paris’ song “hunter” is written below them, “If I were easy to kill you would have don’t it already…” At the bottom is a simple smaller sketch of Jax unable to bite Pomni and her unable to shoot him. He kneels over her, looking shaken and trembling, as he rests his head on her shoulder. Pomni is also kneeling now, her hand dropping the gun as she holds a hand to his back and one on his chest. The gun dropped below them. “You’re a gentle, purring beast and I’m alive.” Is written besides them. Photo is taken at an angle and a mechanical pencil peaks in above the photo. little funbun bebe ✨💜🤍❤️ I don’t quite have a name for her yet; thinking of something like “Lilac” or “Periwinkle”… hmm maybe “Viola”? Maybe I’ll just interchange between them lol~

#funnybunny #jaxpom #funbunfankid #alphasart
Some digital draws of Jax and Pomni with their new bebe. A white and soft lilac/purple bunny, who looks pretty small. One draw is there after being born, with Pomni cradling them in her hands, over her shoulder, Jax kneeling on the ground with a soft look in his/her eyes, resting their head by Pomni's side. Other sprinkled doodles are of them holding their small bebe in both their hands, showing how small she is, "Tiny premmie bebe" written beside her. Another draw where she is a little more bigger, cradled in Jax's hands, "She grew alittle" written next to her. And lastly another draw of her grown up more, wearing a cute red and blue acrobat outfit with a long color with bells at the ends. Her eyes open to show a softer red and blue to Pomni's. "She grew even more" written next to her.

“Don’t go, please, stay with me”

Holding onto each other even when it hurts so much; the thought of letting go is much more painful ✨

#funnybunny #jaxpom #tadcpomni #tadcjax #alphasart
A digital draw of Pomni and Jax within Jax's abstraction. Both are in down to their bare models, with Jax visibly abstracting, the glitches appearing prominently tearing through his chest and back, appearing like jagged wings; along his head, ear and lower back. Some snakes up his arms to his hands, where he holds on tightly to Pomni's arms. He is in tears and his eye is glowing from abstraction. Pomni is shown cradling Jax's face as she pleads with him, also tearing up. The glitching abstraction from Jax is slowly affecting her where he holds onto her arms, inching up her biceps. An colorful wing is torn through her back, with a dark magenta/red at the base. She is not abstracting, but due to her holding onto Jax, who is, it is gradually affecting her as well. However, she refuses to let go. The background is similar to the moment when Pomni is taken into Jax's abstacted form after embracing him. And before she lands in his mindscape. Abstraction eyes circling around them with a glowing white center between them. A close up zoom in of the drawing focusing in on Jax and Pomni.

I really enjoy reading MyPoorHeartu’s fanfic, “Mistakes of the night before”, it’s just really cool drama fic. With a lot of pure wholesome moments recently after a lot of anguish in between lol 😭

Also had to draw some Pregni ♡ alas, she is just hermosa 🙂‍↕️❤️ #funnybunny #jaxpom #alphasart (1/2)
An art draw of Jax and Pomni, inspired from the fanfic "Mistakes of the night before" by MyPoorHeartu on ao3. Takes place around chapter 37. Both Pomni and Jax look at each other with some exhaustion and anguish in their eyes, with Pomni resting her hand on her belly bump. Both of them trying to mend their relationship after some misunderstandings occurred some chapters prior.

Another two, happier/tender doodles~

I highly recommend the fic, I really enjoyed it! ✨ #funnybunny #jaxpom #alphasart (2/2)
A pair of line draws of Pomni and Jax that follow after the top drawing. Inspired by the fanfic "Mistakes of the night before" by MyPoorHeartu. The top drawing is of Jax kneeling before Pomni as they both share a tender kiss. The drawing below is of the morning after, the both naked and spooning. Jax nuzzles the top of Pomni's hair, saying, "Morning~ You smell good." With Pomni responding with, "I probably smell like you."

Y’all seemed interested in Jax backsliding & this chapter is a perfect example of how healing is non-linear & sometimes you blow everything up just bc safety doesn’t feel safe when you’ve only ever known danger

So I’m working on a post-Ep9 de-abstraction fic!

At first I had no clue where to begin w/ this one, so here’s my initial “proof of concept” scene that i used to get a feel for the direction i wanted this to go. It may or may not make it into the final fic

Falling apart before things get better❤️‍🩹

I fw the idea that it take a bit before they figure out how to de-abstract ppl & in the meantime Pomni is sleeping in the tent, isolating, joining the group for adventures less & less, hoping she’ll abstract too
