I wasn’t even expecting the JayMel ship at all. Thought Mel was just gonna be another Strong Independent Black Woman Who Need No Man writers like to do but they wrote them w a romantic link. Honestly, I’d prefer Mel to have stayed single throughout the entire show than this disrespect to her tbh

(jaymel / meljay, pregnancy mention cw) someone mentioned how the original plot for s2 mel got pregnant and like. aside from how much i hated the rest of the plot they planned out for jayce i actually REALLY wish that had happened or at least i would love to see someone explore it in fic 😭
