New— An American citizen boarding flight from Boston to Lisbon just now told me after showing boarding pass, every passenger stopped on jetway by two ICE agents demanding to take their photo. When passenger asked why, ICE threatened to detain them. If they said no photo, couldn't board/TBD detained.

I do really, really hate the crowded, sweaty bus to the jetway thing.
This, and my other gripe is the "take a bus from terminal to board" instead of just using a jet bridge.
I feel the US uses jet bridges 100% of the time, and for intra-EU flights it's lilke >50% "bus to terminal", even for non-discount flights.

I've gotten reports of at least five other instances in the past few months of [most likely] CBP (possibly another agency bc they didn't identify themselves) stopping passengers on the jetway to board and requiring a photo—taken with a small camera or smartphone—with no explanation.
