Bought a framed print of Bodhidharma in Seoul at Jogyesa Temple. He was the first Zen/Chan patriarch, who brought Buddhism out of India into China. It is said he cut his eyelids off after falling asleep in meditation.

Day 1 we arrived in the evening so went for a stroll in the neighbourhood. We were close to the Jogyesa Temple 조계사 that looks amazing at night. Had our first CVS (convience store) meal and a really nice view from our hotel room.

Visited Jogyesa Temple in Seoul, the main Seon/Zen temple. Apart from tourists, mostly local women of retirement age, doing routine full body prostrations, making offerings. It's also possible to stay at the temple and live like a monk for a week or so. Atmosphere quite casual and welcoming.
