The PS section of @nigetassell.bsky.social C86 book is a great opening to what is a fascinating book. Joogs’ account of early PS life certainly, er, chimes with some subsequent tales.

Joogs had to wear gloves (with foam padding inside) as otherwise he'd cut his hands and wrists on his tambourine. It was steel and made been made especially by a mate of his who worked in a garage.
