Something to note is that if you want a properly curated feed of your interests, you'll have to follow plenty of people who pertain to said interests. Artists, writers, journalists, devs, shitposters, the works. Interacting by replying to add to the conversation can help you get noticed, too.

Morning Joe is unwatchable. Joe Scarborough is a bloviating aspirational mediocrity. Willie Geist is a banal empty suit who lobs softball questions to every guest. MSNOW needs to turn this show over to Lemire, female journalists, and people of color. The weak link in the MSNOW lineup.

I am more informed than the average American thanks to journalists like Sarah Kendzior and Seth Abramson and others. Bluesky was the only place I didn't feel like I was losing my mind and felt I found my people. It's not perfect but we can try to make it better.
