I'm not exactly a fan of the JPRG route, but all things considered, it may be our best option given current circumstances.

Mission 28 was pure anime/JPRG cinema! The protagonists facing many foes and insurmountable odds. But then, all the former enemies they fought, all the people they teamed up with or saved coming together...And the main theme from first ep rearranged and remixed with full band and orchestra!

come to think of it, I don;t think "... ..." is english grammar neither. In Korean it's standard grammar to indicate the speaker paused during their turn but non-Asian americans probably think it's a final fantasy or other JPRG line.

These Gestalt Beach sections are giving me PTSD flashbacks to that secret dungeon in FF15 where a JPRG that wasn't designed to be a platformer decides it wants you to be very precise with small platforms & jumps that leads to your character not grabbing ledges or slipping and falling down....

So I have mentioned on stream I have been playing the new Digimon game in my own time and it's been such a breath of fresh air just having a fun jprg that I don't need to play X game or read some over stuff to fully understand the game lore . Also enjoy my son Paildramon isn't he silly

It very much feels like a JPRG with Fire Emblem's skin put on top of it, I'm so sick of how long the free time segments are, how fuckin' easy the game is (at least act 1) and I hate how little characterisation I'm getting out of pretty much all the recruits i'm getting

파판R도 그렇고 어라이즈도 그렇고 JPRG 특유의 액션 감각은 뭐랄까 좀 뚝딱거리는 맛인 것 같음 뭐랄까 현대적인 메커니즘을 덧붙여놔도 이 근본적인 뚝딱거림이 벗겨지지를 않음...; 도대체 카메라를 왜 그렇게 쓰는거야? 락온 카메라가 타겟을 제대로 트래킹하는 것도 아니고 시야 이동이 완전 자유로운 것도 아니고 진짜 이상하게 움직이는데.

i can respect if jprg clashes arent someones thing, but being purposefully obtuse about it to paint it as an objectively bad feature doesnt give me a good impression about you as a content creator

i mean, JRPGs were not a hit in the west until Pokémania. in the japanese industry view, if Dragon Quest, the biggest game in Japan, and counting with Toriyama's arts, flopped, no JPRG could thrive
