A fully colored illustration of Fenris and Anders making out, they are naked but the image is mostly their chests up. They are passing blue electricity through their mouths

Thought about a justfenders fic in which Anders and Justice separate but Justice gets to keep the body and I must have thought about it too hard because I dreamed of Fenris giving Justice the swords of Templars to sway him into feeding the body or letting it rest but Justice thinks he's wooing him

preview of fic It’s like music to the ears. It’s always there. It’s a drumming, behind the eyes, a melody beneath the heart. He can feel it and so can Justice, but it’s always been quiet, quieter than a heartbeat, never this loud, overwhelming thing. Usually, his lover sings louder and the sound soothes them both, helps him sleep without nightmares. He thought that the volume would increase, gradually, that it would be like a minstrel’s tune, caught in his head and unwilling to leave, to turn into a louder and louder cacophony until he could no longer think through it. But now, this is all at once, a loud rush that makes him feel he will go bad or deaf. One moment, he is sitting there, eating the pastry with salmon berry jam in the center, a gift from Merrill, his lover’s calloused and cruel hands braiding his long gold and silver hair, and the next the conversation is gone. He drops the pastry onto the plate. His appetite is gone. There is an animal in his throat, an evil, dark thing, something that only belongs underground, and it growl. Justice flashes over him and all of their friends are staring at him. They travel and Fenris is always close, his hand always in Anders’, and they stop when the song grows so loud that Anders can’t move aside from covering his ears and falling to the ground. They’re half way to the nearest entrance to The Deep Roads when the sky explodes. A bright burst of green crashes down from the sky and its not just the song but Justice who is too loud in his head. Anders loses himself, going into the soft quiet nothing inside of himself, as his spirit rises to the surface, blue and red lightning cracking through and over him. The green is full of demons, looking for some sort of body, anything that they can exist in, and then spilling forward, driven mad by how the things they find have no life in them. There is no saving them. More and more demons come forward and there is no sign of them stopping, the green light is not fading. Their party is wounded and they must, for once, run from the fight. Bethany, Hawke, Aveline, Fenris, Merrill, Justice, Isabela, and Dog, they make their way out of the fight and down the mountain, further and further down, until they can find a cave. It is terrible, to stop, and Anders is confused and aching and lost when he returns, afraid of the time that he’s lost to possession, to what he may have done. Nothing. Justice behaved, he helped. Anders heals everyone and he hides away, keeps from the light. If it weren’t for them he would run into the cave, and he wishes to, wishes he was strong enough, to just leave them behind and die alone. He’s wanted to die for so long, it would have been easier, but it would be selfish too. Fenris reminded him the importance of living and, now, at the precipice, Fenris pulls him from the ledge once more.
