Upgrades and modifications on my 2019 Acura RDX Advance this weekend to go with my Ktuner stage 2 map.

Installed an Acura Integra Type-S engine cover on the K20C4. New PRL intake and filter. Michelin Crossclimate 2 change from the stock Continentals.

I like to watch I Do Cars. Taking apart mechanical stuff is a ton of fun.

It's pretty fun to watch the host work through the sorta forensic process of figuring out why the episode's engine is bad. (this is a reminder to check your oil, car-havers)

Essentially, the K20C (type R motor) only has exhaust side VTEC, and the variable vane turbo make up for everything on the intake side.

I got to work with the less-tuned K20C4, but I only did routine maintenance as usual...
