Ever since the swarm expansion was revealed I was coming up with fun team themes. This one is my favorite.

Wasn’t easy but can confirm that if you let go of one set of standard pieces and the cardboard arenas, you can fit all of the current #kabutosumo content, including the wooden arenas, into the two game boxes. Not nearly as pretty as that official locker but it can be done! @allplay.bsky.social

My copy of Kabuto Sumo Sakura Slam, the big box and promos are finally here 🥰

Too excited, I don't think I take a good enough picture of it. It took me around 2 hours to organize everything, including assembling the ring

I absolutely love this game played the game a lot

Here's the full wrestler card ranking. This one doesn't take into account swarm cards. I haven't played with Bluegrass Bill or Green Destiny yet, but I'm pretty confident with my picks. The tier directly above Andre is E tier.
#kabutosumo #boardgames #tierlist
Ampolla, Apex, Cactus Jacked, Duuude, and the liquifier take S tier. Andre the Goliath takes F tier

Finally played it today. The new Arena is played differently and the whole corner slam thing is just good.

But I think it will be fiddly with 3-4P 😂

But it's so fun, I'll play again soon

Played our 1st two games of #KabutoSumo on 2024-11-08. It might be a tad bit imprecise for my tastes but need to get some rules clarification and try it again. #bgstats

Went ahead and ranked the Junior league cards as well. Ampolla del Diablo and Thunder from down under don't have Junior league cards even though they totally deserve it, so I made some for them. They're not good.

Surprised #kabutosumo doesn't have an Atlas moth yet. Whenever you knock off a medium or small disc you may stack it on Atlas's enlarged Wrestler piece. On your turn you can remove one of the stacked pieces and push it as an additional piece.

If you’re looking for a fun competitive family game, look no further than Kabuto Sumo! This game is full of charm and a great introduction to board games for younger kids, since the game is incredibly simple and has a junior version built in!
