Honestly the highlight of my Can*Con experience was going to the Kaffeeklatch with @premeemohamed.com who said "They just get guest list names to keep the serial killers out"
To which I said "then they've done a terrible job"
And she said "Oh right, because you do the murders" 😂😂😂

I'm really glad now I went to his Kaffeeklatch last year and got to tell him how huge an influence his short stories had on me growing up. Slow Birds! Black Water! What a mind. RIP.
Very sorry to hear that the great Ian Watson left us today. I last saw him at Eastercon a year ago, where he bought me a magic wand to go with my elf ears. He will be much missed.
