They are sweet little beasties. I have the Z1 and the Z10. Got them when Kamerastore dud bargain boxes.

No, it'll be my first time. I saw the results that you got and when Kamerastore had their discount sale just had to get a few rolls. All sold out now.

Gerade im Kamerastore massiven Equipmenttausch gemacht, man kennt mich da schon lang … und der Verkäufer zu Lorenz so: „Du bist bei uns ungefähr das, was im Fußball die Spielerfrau ist.“

There's a red E-PL1 on the Kamerastore at the moment. Broken image stabilization, of course, but briefly tempted.

Oh my, mine is awesome! Got it for a song on Kamerastore 'cos they couldn't test it. Took the punt and never regretted it. Snag is, I rarely get 110 films for it. Going to put that right soon.

I had one way back. But when I got 'back into film' I never replaced it. Instead I went for the Voigtländer Brillant, which looks like roadkill but performs like a star.

First frames with the Voigtländer Brillant pseudo TLR camera, 31 March 2024
A couple of weeks ago I posted about the Voigtländer Brillant pseudo TLR camera. I had picked up this one from the Kamerastore website for 15€ under their ‘not passed’ category because …

yeah Kamerastore uses some spanish lab for developing so its never fast.

Yeah. Telefoto is cheaper, but their base price is higher so it works out the same. Kamerastore is clearly cheapest - push at same price others ask for regular development, but the delivery times are long and I don't like mailing film...

The shutter isn't working in tolerance, but I got some lovely images from this old Zeiss Ikon Contessa. I'm sure that it qualifies, but it's almost too good for the #ShittyCameraChallenge
Filling The Gaps With Another 35mm Folding Camera: The Zeiss Ikon Contessa (533/24)
I'll come out and say it: I didn't need this camera. It was just an impulse buy from the Kamerastore website. But I like Zeiss Ikon cameras, and this one was 35mm, and a folder (it doesn't look like it, but it has little bellows inside), and I just had to have it. I HAD to. Of course, it was cheap, about 40€, which I understand is a great price for a Contessa.

Kameradoktorn på Birger Jarlsgatan, Cyberphoto och Kamerastore på Karlavägen är nog intresserade. Alla handlar med begagnade kameror.

Thank you. I got mine cheap from Kamerastore to adapt to MFT, only to discover that someone had done it already, and quite spectacularly, too.
June 13, 2026 at 7:54 AM
I'm sure it'll come soon. Kamerastore have just changed their courier to FedEx, well to me anyhow, and delivery times have gone from 24h (Finland to Portugal) to a week. Chafes that it cost an extra 1€, too. Drafting my moan already.

I've never bought from UPP (tariffs, customs, etc.) but I have got loads of 'Not Passed' items from Kamerastore and for me, getting an image out of a camera 'that looks like roadkill' [🤣🤣] is half the thrill.

A bit late for Folder Week, but this was my fIrst film through the new (to me) Belca Beltica 35mm folding camera.
Filling The Gaps: The Belca Beltica, A 35mm Folding Camera
I have a lot of cameras, but until recently I never had a 35mm folding camera. Then, a few weeks ago, I was leisurely scrolling the Kamerastore website when I came across this lovely black folding camera, the Belca Beltica. Unusually for me, it was in the 'Certified' category and was, 'found to be working correctly flaws present will ... will not affect typical use'.

I was tempted by a 30mm fish-eye at Kamerastore. It has separation on the rear element and doesn't focus to infinity, so would be fun for my fucked up images, but 110€ put me off.

There are a whole load of panoramic cameras on the Kamerastore website at thr moment, including a couple of 202s. Not sure if they are worth the risk. Under the 'Not passed' condition.

I got my first HorizonT cheap from the 'Not passed' bargain section at Kamerastore. It chewed up the first film so I got a bit discouraged. Then later a Horizon 202 appeared, also not passed and untested. I took the chance, and it's been amazing.

Kamerastore have had a Porst SLR on the site for ages with the paint worn off to the brass in places that appeals to me. But I have been good. (Mind you, I did buy a cheap Panasonic GF1 with similar wear that I could not resist.)

Is the Valoi easy35 v2 Film Scanner the Best One There Is?
Spread the love Last year, we tested out the original Valoi easy35 from the folks at Kamerastore, aka Kameratori, in Finland. The product was so intuitive to use that we rated it among the most convenient ways to scan 35mm film negatives and slides. Now the team at Valoi is back with an upgrade – the easy35 v2, which appears to be a complete redesign with mostly new components. The Valoi easy35 v2 light source Valoi says the easy35 v2 has a lot of advantages over the original. The most notable aspect here is the material used in the design. They’ve swapped out the 3D-printed nylon body for a smooth, sleek injection-molded ABS. This is clearly evident in the improved surface finish and results in 5 to 10 times tighter mechanical tolerances. The all-metal rotation mechanism provides more precise, smoother alignment of the light source with the attached tubes. Accessory mounting is magnetic too now, for items like the easy35 duster attachment. The light source has also undergone significant changes. Valoi tells us that edge-to-edge light uniformity is near-perfect now, improving on the original model’s 80%. They were able to develop a CRI 95+ fixed-color-temperature source designed for “pre-balancing” color negatives while remaining neutral for E6 and B&W. They claim this helps solve the problem of the orange-shifted tint on color negatives and preserves maximum detail during digitization. New holders have also been developed and now the series comprises 35mm Standard, 35mm Half-Frame, 35mm Sprockets, 35mm Mounted Slides (50 x 50 mm), APS, Minox, 126, and 1120 holders. Valoi has designed new holders for the easy35 v2 Battery life is more than doubled and you get around 4 hours with the easy35 v2. Unlike what I observed with the v1 model, you can now directly power the light source via a USB-C cable, thanks to the Smart Battery Bypass technology here. This preserves the inbuilt battery’s life and also reduces heat dissipation. If the build quality is as good as the original’s I have no doubt in the longevity of the v2, but Valoi adds confidence by saying that the easy35 v2 is fully repairable, and uses standard screws instead of clips or glue. Electronic components and the battery, too, are easily replaceable should the need ever arise. The original Valoi easy35 light source We gave the original Valoi easy35 a whole five stars in our review. An easy product to set up, I was able to breeze through scanning entire rolls of film within a matter of minutes. No copy stand, no worrying about camera shake – the system developed by the team at Valoi is so simple to use, and it gave me very consistent results. > Valoi is a name that has been earning respect in the film photography accessories world. It is a Finnish word meaning light and creation, and their mission focuses on making film workflows easier without losing the core of analog photography. With the Valoi easy35 film scanner, they have created something truly practical. As nicely machined as the original easy35 was, this new one looks so much better Valoi is launching the easy35 v2 at the same price – €229 (approximately USD 272). Pre-orders open today, Feb 26th, and if you order anytime from now until the 26th of March, you can get the v2 for just €199 (USD 236). It’s even more affordable if you already own the easy35 – just order the Loyalty Upgrade Kit for €139 (USD 165), and you can continue to use your existing extension tubes with the new light source Shipping begins in April. **_Images seen in this article were provided for use by Valoi_** 35mm film scanning scanning Valoi Valoi easy35 Shares Written by ### Feroz Khan Never seen without a camera (or far from one), Feroz picked up the art of photography from his grandfather at a very early age (at the expense of destroying a camera or two of his). I did. It was 44€. Probably overpriced, but most stuff at the Kamerastore generally is (IMO). Picked it up to make purchase of a filter hood for the glitchy Powershot A80 more palatable when factoring in shipping.

You know when the description in a Kamerastore concludes with, 'TLDR: It's VERY worn in almost every way, but somehow still working more or less okay', that's just like a challenge, right? Has #ShittyCameraChallenge written all over.
