Kitty is on this crazy diet and I was looking at the book so I know what to cook for her and I saw a grain mentioned that I had never heard of and I got some tonight and I think I have a complete grain collection now; the final grain for me was kaniwa; it's smaller than quinoa but larger than teff

Have you tried kaniwa? It has more of a nutty flavor than quinoa and it's gluten free!

Used to buy from Amazon & EBay, living in amidst Philly mob & die Spinne refugees atop a ridge in the Poconos. In NYC, online shopping is imperitive; but buying 30lbs of kañiwa, teff or sorghum is only possible due to folks I'd bought from when EBay was actually kinda fun?

You’ll need various combinations of grains, vegetables and nuts to get the complete proteins found in meats. There are no guarantees in life but eating healthy helps a lot with staying healthy.

Have you heard of kaniwa? It's this tiny ancient grain that's super versatile and pretty healthy too. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first, thinking it was just another quinoa trend. But after trying a few recipes, I'm totally sold. It cooks up fast, doesn't really have a strong taste, so it works with pretty much anything. Whether you're looking for something light and fresh or a bit more filling, kaniwa can do it.
