Kapanen is definitely a better option than Newhook to center that line. Newhook is better as a winger imo.

Kreider will get more accustomed to the team for sure, but I don’t think their styles mesh at all.
Slaf Kapanen and Kreider might be more in type style wise. That would put Demidov on line 1 too. Cole just needs to shoot every puck 😂

We have too many forwards and guys like Kapanen and FX that can step in and contribute more (granted, Kapanen is currently injured). Gotta figure KH has to be making a move at some point this season.

No argument here. They look disorganized. Hard to figure Kapanen out, Krieder in and they can't seem to make it work.

I'm sure Marty is going to show more patience with Krieder on line 1, especially since Kapanen is still out, but they need to get the top line back together and let Krieder make an impact from line 2 (or 3).

Not sure why this was even tried to begin with but Marty can be stubborn. Does Kapanen make that much of a difference? Cuz 20 and 93 have been all kinds of awful 2 games now

Newhook is definitely not the answer as the 2C. He may not be the long term answer, but Kapanen is still a better option - he can't come back soon enough.
