When I got my karoo2(pre SRAM), one of their big things was consistent updates to let you know they were serious.
As for obsolescence, the karoo2 is already obsolete since the Karoo release.

I include zeroes in my power measurement n my Karoo2 and it's within 5watts of what Strava says. Still dunno why there would be differences if my power numbers come straight off my power meter tho
