I was so intrigued by these #bridgeExtensions that I added an #armDay to my 4 day upper/lower and experimented with a full-RoM variation which predictably mimics cable #katanaExtensions by allowing for external rotation. I'm loving how there's a standardized cutoff for #lengthenedPartials here.
Starting position: butt planted on deck; spine extended into arch, bridging the upper back off the deck; knuckles joined behind the head resting thereupon. Extending the elbows, remaining bridged, knuckles still joined. Lengthened partial cutoff point: knuckles still joined; elbows extended to maximal degree without external rotation of the shoulders; spine still extended into an arch and bridging; upper back contacting but not resting upon the deck. Lock-out: hands diverge as elbows extend maximally, facilitated by external rotation of the shoulders; upper back raises back off the deck with spine still extended and arched.
