To be clear, tho, Döner kebabs are Turkish, and due to longstanding enmity between the Greeks and Turks, I guarantee that you were not being served Turkish food while in Greece. You were eating gyros, not döner kebabs. Seasonings and toppings have a lot of overlap, but they aren't the same.
