When you talk about pure smug, unadulterated, no-excuse-except-enjoying-it villainy, I will always and forever compare such characters to the gold standard of madness, Kefka, and 99% of them will fall short. It’s why I prefer a more nuanced villain: the perfect psycho has already been done.

As a Kefka player that plays funny jank that makes my deck somewhere in the 2-3 range, this is completely accurate
