one of these rabbits had a fun time in ishgard and one of them. well. not so much :)
meme graph showing the ffxiv expacs on the x axis and a scale of "it's so over" to "having a normal one" to "we're so back" on the y axis. this one's filled out for my boy khable, it goes: pre-ARR: it's so over ARR: slightly low on "having a normal one", but peaks up a little way in, then dropping down to about halfway towards "it's so over" just before the start of HW HW: high end of having a normal one HW patch quests: slightly more centered in normal STB: sharp rise into low "we're so back" territory, falling slowly SHB: consistently at having a normal one until dropping towards EW EW: it's so over, raising slightly in patch quests DT: shooting past "we're so back" so sharply it goes fully off the chart and the top of the image. he REALLY fucking loves Tural. same chart as before but this one's filled out for my boy khord. he starts out low, slowly creeps up, drops a bit at HW, shoots back up midway through HW only for it to fall right back off that cliff and hit the same level of it's so over as pre-ARR at, oh, let's say, probably level 57 msq :) after that it kinda slowly rises, in little cup-shaped divots towards having a normal one, raising mostly in the timespan between SHB and EW, and evening out at about a high "normal one" zone after that.

oh I'm so good at picking up on that too, I get that vibe with some individuals. I was one of the few people calling it with the owner of DHC, and I knew Khord quite well and saw that one coming from a mile away - but there's been quite a few others too.

My tumultuous relationship with Khord Kitty which I didn't realize exactly how fucking insane he was until about 2016. but we were friends for years, despite him being kind of insufferable to be around in more than a small dose.
