Not the same as the original covers which are unbeatable but they do use a lot of elements of the original artworks. And of course you can buy as many editions as you like. Paper needs to be replaced. Doesn’t keep well forever. Parchment keeps longer. www.discworldemporium.com/product-cate...

This made me week. The Discworld Imaginarium, by Paul Kidby showing his sketches and finished art for the Discworld and all of its various characters and settings. Lucky finding it for a score too. (€20 for non dubs)

This is what Paul Kidby should title his autobiography, but "The Colourer of Magic"
Create an unnecessary sequel by adding an -er to a book’s title. I’ll start:

If you told me that Pratchett wrote this book on a dare from Paul Kidby ("I'll illustrate anything! Just you watch."), I would totally believe it.

I was going to treat myself to a big Christmas gift this year: A complete set of the Discworld novels.
The classic Josh Kirby and later Paul Kidby covers look to be out for new printings, replaced.
I may just end up getting them all as ebooks. It’s $10.99 vs $21.99 for hard copy.

Kirby and Kidby were both iconic and basically any other cover the publishers have done has been at best boring and at worst an active affront to the books as objet d'art

Pages spotted by @brucebadger.bsky.social in a bestiary inspired by Sir Terry Pratchett’s Discworld, illustrated by Paul Kidby. He thinks it’s out soon in the UK and is available in the US in November.
If I’d trust anyone to interpret basilisk mythology, Sir Terry would be high on the list. :>
