Out of all people who've left KyoAni at some point, no one has had the gravity to reunite ex-coworkers that Takase possesses. And since she hangs out at Kinema fairly often, we should see a bunch of them showing up in Sayonara Lara. These blobby Kigami-ish tears feel like a tell of their work

Never let it be said that the way a show looks "doesn't matter" in whether it's good or not. The right direction and care to detail can make the humdrum better and the hysterical reach new plateaus of excellence. Point is, I'll take 10 seconds of "Fumoffu" over whole 12-episode spans of many others.

Es una gran pena que un loco de estos se lo llevara en el atentado a la Kyoto Animation en 2019. Seguro que nos hubiera seguido regalando grandes animaciones.

Podemos seguir viendo la obra de Yoshiji Kigami (1957-2019), disfrutándolo, estudiándola y siendo referente.

Os voy algunas de las animaciones de Yoshiji Kigami, para que veáis lo gran animador y profesional que era.

Empiezo por «La tumba de las luciérnagas» (1988).

Recordad que la animación es algo en conjunto y a veces una escena hay más de un autor y se realizan con un gran equipo.
