Beneath the Forum Theatre's ornate ceiling and old-world grandeur, Los Angeles trio HEALTH brought a very different architecture to the room: industrial electronics, punishing low end and flashes of melody that cut through the darkness. Support was provided by Perturbator and King Yosef who made the bill feel less like a conventional support-headliner arrangement and more like three different routes into the same dark corner. King Yosef wasted little time dragging the Forum into darker territory. The American producer and artist moved freely between industrial, noise, metal and electronica, welding hardcore intensity to mechanical electronics and serrated edges.
