Yeah. I’ve heard that expression before, probably applies to lots of places. Oregon coast though is particularly rough. Have you ever been to Cape Kiwanda? That’s the only place on the coast I have visited. 1999! My gf moved out there to take a job, and I visited a few times.

Beautiful day at the coast!

I drove to Pacific City then walked on the beach from Bob Straub park to the mouth of Nestucca bay (over 2 miles each way).

For the first time in my life I found a whole Sand Dollar! I've been hoping to find on for 40+ years!
