A 2-bit pixel art burger and fries using the #kiwi2bitminus palette. The burger buns are blue, the cheese and onions are yellow, and the patty is a pinkish color. The fries are yellow. Burger Ingredients: ●Ground Lamb → 1 lb or 453 g ●Soy Sauce → ¼ cup ●Pepper → As much as desired ●Neutral Oil or Olive Oil → ¼ cup ●Citrus Herb Seasoning → As much as desired ○Dried mint, bell pepper, orange peel, and shallot Burger add-ons: ●Bread Cheese or Halloumi → 1 (6 oz) or (170 g) piece ●Hamburger buns or bread of choice ●Pickled red onions → 1 red onion and 3 small limes/2 medium limes Fries: ●2 large potatoes ●Enough neutral oil to fill a pan a quarter of the way Cooking Instructions: ●Pickled red onions: ○Cut red onion into thin circular slices and place in a small bowl ○Slice limes and mix juice with red onion ○Marinate for at least an hour ●Burgers: ○Place lamb in a bowl and break apart ○Combine all burger ingredients together and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes ○After marinating, take lamb and mold into patties of desired size ○Heat frying pan over medium heat with neutral oil ○Fry up cheese on both sides for 4 minutes each ○Remove cheese to cool and dry on paper towels ○Add patties to frying pan and lower heat to in between medium and low ○Cook patties until they reach at least 145 ℉ or 62 ℃ ○Remove patties to cool and dry on paper towels ●Bread: ○Once burgers are all cooked, place bread in the same frying pan to soak up juices and crisp up ○Add additional oil if necessary ●Fries: ○Cut potatoes lengthwise into thick cut fry shapes ■Cut further if they’re too wide (not long) ○Place fries into a bowl and fill it with water ○Let fries soak in water for at least 30 minutes to drain excess starch ○Place oil into frying pan until it fills about a quarter of the pan ○Heat oil on high until it shines ○Place as many fries as you can into the pan ○Fry until the potatoes become golden brown and crispy ○Place fries over a paper towel to drain excess grease ○Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper ●Assembly ○Place burger on bottom bun ○Place cheese on burger ○Place red onion on cheese ○Place last piece of bread on top ○Add anything else if desired
