On a blue kitchen table by a window sits a blob of ivory lace knitting on the needles, a journal with charts tabled into it, a coffee mug with a blue toucan and flower, and a couple of plants, including a non-blooming orchid.

Gornwen's outstretched left hand holds a delicate ivory colored knitted lace shawl, still on the needles, resembling a fishing net. Behind Lake Michigan can be seen kissing the shoreline. In the deep teal water, white boats can be seen heading south, back into port. The sky is streaked with moody clouds against a vibrant blue.

There is basically no light in this room so I'm knitting by neck light. Thank dog for pale yarn but wow the LEDs make my work look really weird. 😂 Beginning to srsly doubt I can finish, wash, and block this in time for my sister's birthday but I persist! #knitfaster #knitting 🧶
A triangle of pale grey knitting is shown, featuring a double chain cable pattern. The scene is weirdly lit and the purl bumps in the part of the shawl that isn't cabled look super bumpily textured. Is bumpily a word? Autocorrect definitely doesn't think so. #UnfreeShawl #UnfreeMAL #knitsky
