@wanderingkotka.com makes delightful characters, like her Baba Marta inspired Animal Crossing characters AND her Pokemon trainer Marta which I had the chance to draw as well.

Lastly is Creulonach aka Alpha Lynx (Also pokemon AU). The 1st Gen Lynx in the constellation world. He is a giant in height but w/ a squishy heart. If you harm his family he will rage; using his mastery of illusion to camo allies, confuse enemies and kill.

When you can't decide if you want to draw mermaids or unicorns so you do both. Gift for @wanderingkotka.com of some of her Unicorn crew, having an underwater get together.

#MyArt #TraditionalArt #Nickycorn #NickyUnicorn #unicorn #FantasyArt #art #mythology #Mermay #Mermaid #Merpeople #ArtSky
Marker and colored pencil illustration of four merpeople unicorns and a mercat gathering together and having tea. Enyatta is a green haired mermaid with braids and glasses looking over Oreto, an orange Cecaelia,'s shoulder. Oreto is using one of her tentacles to pour tea into Lynn, a red-hiared and pink-and blue finned mermaid with blue gkasses,'s teacup. Lynn is holding her purrmaid Boo in one arm and Boo has a lil toy. Blue-haired merperson Sini is in the top corner peeking in as well. All characters belong to WanderingKotka and were designed by me in their original and merpeople forms.

belated birthday gift for @wanderingkotka.com who is an awesome person you should be following ❤️
this is her Gym Leader, Trudy! She has pretty big friends you'll have to get through if you want her badge...
#myart #pokemon #leavanny #copperajah
A Pokemon trainer with two Pokemon. In the back is Copperajah, who is mostly dark green with orange metallic markings and white tusks. Next on the right is Trudy, a black woman with light gray hair tied into a complicated set of buns/braids with a red headwrap a la Rosie the Riveter. She's also wearing mostly dark green, with yellow stripes and belt and cuffs, light gray near her ankles, and black shoes with red soles. She has yellow arm cuffs with red and white Poke Balls attached to them. In the front on the left is Leavanny, who is mostly two shades of green with a yellow head, feet, and thorax. She kinda looks like she's dabbing lol. The background is a dark brown fabric rexture, and there are dramatic white speed lines on top of everything.

Went through some old art yesterday and found some that hold up as decent still! Ah, so much character art in my Photoshop era.

This hijabi magical girl is Arayeh Shirazi and she belongs to @wanderingkotka.com! ✨

#theshinyshrimp #mahoushoujo #ocart #originalcharacter #magicalgirl
A hijabi woman is illustrated in the middle of a whirling dance movement, one arm held in a low half circle and the other held high with a magical quill. The design is full of greens, blues, and teals, with an accent of yellow as it reflect an overall peacock design. Magic swirls around her from the quill, bright against an overall plain dark background. Artist credit is signed as The Shiny Shrimp.

@wanderingkotka.com 's Pokemon Gym leader Trudy and her Roserade say you can do hard things today, especially if you get a friend to help.

#MyArt #Pokemon #PokemonFanart #PokemonOC #PokemonArt #Art #Artsky
Marker artwork of WanderingKotka's Pokemon OC, gym leader Trudy in a chibi style. Trudy is a Black woman with light color hair swept up into a rose shaped style with some locs cascading off to the side, wrapped in red bandanna-like cloth that ties into a rose. Her green and yellow "outfit is based on Japanese nikkapokka pants worn by construction workers." She has one arm up in a "we can do it" pose and is looking down and winking at her Roserade, who has one arm raised in a can-do attitude.

Digital fashion illustration of WanderingKotka's Pokemon oc Copper in an Elegoss-inspired winter outfit. On the right she is in a green knit sweater dress, yellow leggings, green boots (with the "fur"), a brown leather belt/harness combo, gloves, and faux fur hat and earrings. My terrible girl! Thank you so much for this gift of my horrible #standuseroc and art forger Marillion! Reaching embarrassingly deep into the archives to pull the source image out so yinz can see how @theshinyshrimp.bsky.social NAILED IT.

#kotkafriendart #kotkaocs #jjba #jjbaoc #jojo #standuser
Illustration of two JJBA fancharacters, a stand and their user. The stand is styled like a jester, with soft horns on its head and a heart on its forehead. Its body appears to be wearing a suit with diamond-print sleeves ending in white gloves with red finger tips. It is emerging from a canvas that appears to be melting. The stand user is a woman with red hair in a dramatic drill curl ponytail. She wears a cropped bandleader jacket in red with gold trim and epaulets over a black lace bra and white dress pants. A large gold heart is at her hip with blue cords. She holds a ludicrously large diamond and smirks.
