Playing with KraftTone brushes and textures to try an make some of my homage/parody strips look like they're in the newspaper. I love doing silly stuff like this! lol

Oh, I was asked how I get this texture. A lot of this is messing with True Grit Texture Supply's Debaser set. I think their KraftTone brushes could get you there too, probably. www.truegrittexturesupply.com/products/deb...

You know it's serious when they say it's a "Special Episode"...

Finished commission for @ricofox.bsky.social for his dnd character Orion, and Neo who belongs to @badaimrac00n.bsky.social and Tolben. This is by far the best art I have done, I have spent many hours learning KraftTone techniques to finally achieve the type of style I want to be going forward with.

Here's the Spiderman and Thor retro sketches from earlier this week. These have been lots of fun and playing with the KraftTone brushes from @truegrittexture.bsky.social has made for some good results. I'll be posting more Marvel retro reels during the week. #spiderman #thor #marvel #mcu #retro

Downloaded KraftTone after reluctance for years because I already had an older pack
Much more streamlined and easier to use, I was using a Photoshop effect for colouring with the older pack so it’s good to be using a more accurate process (and those colour separated plates are cool!)

Thank you! 💖💖💖 I use a lot of True Grit Texture Supply and Retro Supply Co's brushes and papers. I used TGTS's KraftTone brushes for this one. I'm really obsessed with retro coloring styles 😆

Picked up the Comic Creators bundle and did a quick test pic with some unused lineart I previously inked but never coloured. Very in love with the KraftTone set and guide, can't wait to mess around with the others!

So I went a little nuts and decided to”I should draw someone covered in tattoos” so here’s a new Malakai Black. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

It’s a really cool brush set! I got it for CSP, but they have it available for basically every drawing program and it comes with a cheat sheet of what ratio of CMYK to use to make something like 374 different colours www.truegrittexturesupply.com/collections/...
