I am no good at doing counted cross-stitch but I like to design patterns. This is one of butterflies using Kreinik blending filament with floss for shimmer. Stitched by a friend. Each butterfly is labeled with its species on the pattern so people can learn about them. 😊 #ArtAdventCalendar

Now for the bulk of the work. Going around and satin stitching flat silk with a kreinik blending filament.
Still on the fence of bordering with a thin braid. Will have to see!

Okay, my one tip (that I got from a pal on Instagram), if you want to cross stitch with Kreinik, is to use short strands. Or else you will hate it.
