I managed to rebuild the distributor! I soaked it with Kroil overnight and it STILL took almost an hour to take it apart, it was so freakin’ rusted inside. It cleaned up really well! I put in new points and a new condenser.

No mechanic, but I just dealt with this on a valve cover bolt. Tried heat (BernzOmatic) & penetrating oil (Kroil) & vice grips & only succeeded in breaking it off flush. Ended up buying a right angle drill & drilling & tapping it. Be careful with EZ outs. Break them & it's hard to drill them out.

Trochę ochłonąłem. Widziałem nagranie zbrodni na YT. Szef z restauracji z gwiazdkami Michelina kroił spaghetti przygotowane do podania jako „spaghetti bolognese”. To jak zamordował wcześniej ragout, tylko zwiększa rozmiar zbrodni.

OH! Got it to budge a little bit. Haven't been able to find that gallon of Kroil locally so while waiting on the mail (which will deliver after I've gone back to Juneau😅), been soaking everything in the next best thing Tri-Flow! Seems to be doing the trick. :D

“This will be 30min of work to fix”, lol. Fan rusted to shaft, mounting bolts sheared. Wiring is completely fsck’d. All that’s missing now is a bite from a venomous spider..

Getting the key out of the machine to replace the spring is a challenge. There's a screw and nut in the key shaft. There's also a small metal plate held on with two screws that rides against the flat part of the key to keep it from turning. Those two screws were seized and needed some Kroil. 2/3
