I found an "as new" mint condition Kronos2 to replace the PA5X ... been in possession of it for about a month now already, and totally happy with it.

#korg has announced the return of the #kronos . It appears they have finally listened to their customers and brought back the flagship synthesizer workstation! Kronos3 available summer 2025.
(honestly not a whole lot of diff from Kronos2 though).

Just spent the past 3 hours programming setlists on the #korg #kronos2 and properly interfacing with #mainstage3 so that I can fully control it from the Korg (for the most part) and avoid having to use the mouse as much.

With the PA5X I could only partially control Mainstage3 patches with some dummy user-defined instrument creations, but was limited to only 20 patches - everything else i had to use the UI in Mainstage to select, and the audio went through a separate channel on the mixer.

That's the physical distinction between the Kronos1 and Kronos2 .. the 2 has the wooden end panels. (plus of course the larger RAM, double the SSD, and expanded new sounds). I originally wanted a Kronos, but were hard to find having just been discontinued at the time. Happy now !

RIP Kronos2 (og hosting i DK). Nu er det all-in på EU-løsning for en ret kritisk service. Godt, så er vi hurtigt klar til at få Euro den dag vi forhåbentlig beslutter det.
