Adam Hamilton has to be ECSTATIC with these mail & IPEV numbers in KS!
Regarding what is going on in Kansas, I can’t determine which statistic is more eye popping than the other - the impressive numbers D’s are putting up relative to 2024, or the significant drop off in R turnout. We definitely have a race on our hands here 👀

I know the election is going well because Republicans are running negative ads in KS-4

Dont worry guys, theyll run their polls as many times in a row as they need to to get something positive for Republicans, just like they just did for KS-Sen

yeah candidate quality matters and I’m willing to buy ‘El-Sayed underperforms and Hamilton overperforms’ but there are limits and polls have stretched the bounds of those limits in a way that I just don’t believe

either MI/MN are seriously in play or SC and KS are, not all four
The synthesis would be that El-Sayed is a very poor candidate (electorally), while Collins and Hamilton are unusually good candidates. But that's really stretching the plausible bounds of candidate quality effects in this polarized environment, IMO

Think back to 2006, last midterm w/ an unpopular war/GOP president. Where were the biggest House upsets? Places like IN, IA, KS, MN (Tim Walz!), NH, OH, WI, Upstate NY.

That's why I think the Midwest & places w/ lots of secular white voters are especially ripe for surprises.
