I was saying there haven't been that many races where they've done the 'we're just running on gutter transphobia' thing and have been defeated, basically KYGOV 2023 is the one that comes to mind, but they can argue blah blah, off-year, popular incumbent etc

Losing TXSEN, IASEN, AKSEN in one go?
October 1, 2026 at 11:48 PM
2022 was *sort* of an anti-trans election, but that was more the age of "omg Critical Race Theory"

The "Rs running literally only on transphobia" kicks off with KYGOV in 2023, and then 2024 really makes it a huge part after Elon becomes the biggest donor
September 23, 2026 at 9:27 PM
like the *most* you can point to is KYGOV 2023 and the 2025 elections, but people get to write those off as being A) off-year specials that benefit the outparty B) before the real culture war started in earnest

The narrative was that transphobia *won* in 2024
