Meet Potpourri, one of my devil's flower mantises. He is at his L-3 stage of development, having only molted twice. Devil's Flowers are one of the largest mantis species.

Took a break at McAllister Creek in the spectacular Nisqually Wildlife Refuge north of Olympia.

A miles-long boardwalk runs through the wetlands out to Puget Sound.

Highly recommend.
