I spotted this yesterday, description on both Romhacking and GitHub mention L-Gaim and Brain Powered being in the game, and there's other dead ringers in the description that it was written with GenAI.
It's a shame because the VWF surprisingly looks nice.

*Freddy Krueger voice* Say Mark 2, bitch! I don’t have any other L-Gaim kits to compare it too, but this was a tough, but satisfying experience. The wires were a big source of frustration, but it ultimately came out looking fine enough. Would love to see more L-Gaim kits that aren’t HG’s.

its also yknow, the people making these games also really like those older works. they've probably thought more about daba myroad than many of the people who made l-gaim. this genre is their specialest blorbos and they're somehow, after all these years, able to mostly do whatever they want

I've still got the OVAs to watch. Like I said, L-Gaim is a bit of a shaky ride, but there's so much to appreciate. Can definitely see how it's considered a classic.

Finished L-Gaim (just the TV series) there. It's undeniably made up of a lot of cool parts, although I don't know if it quite works altogether. Definitely not my favourite non Gundam Tomino show. I still have a lot of affection for it.

Yeah same, my preference is largely solid armor plating with a more intricate frame, L-Gaim pretty much nails what I like,,, I do like Helix's abdominal tubing for example that's very pretty to me but less Busy chest and hip plating would help accentuate that. 🙂↕️🙂↕️
